Whilst working on the new Bowers & Wilkins website design, they asked us (SOON_) to art direct the creative and photoshoot for their new PX Wireless headphones.
The concept for this shoot was all based around a core feature of the headphones, which was the three different noise cancelling settings. We wanted to virtually bring the locations to us by projecting those environments up on the wall in the studio.
Our agency project managed the whole thing, from sourcing props for the product flat-lays, finding the right studio with space, to logistics and pulling together a complete production team in order for us to capture the content. Bowers took care of carefully selected two artists for the campaign.
We had a professional photographer and cinematographer fly in from Germany, who both had impressive credentials, shooting on the likes of Canon and Red Camera. Lighting, make-up and fashion stylists were all brought in to assist with maintaining high levels of detail.
What you can see here are behind the scenes photos I took with my own Sony A7R with Carl Zeiss lenses. One of the artists that you might recognise is the super talented conductor and composer, Jules Buckley.
