Immediately upon joining the digital agency SOON_, I jumped straight onto the website redesign project for Bowers & Wilkins. For the tiny percentage of people living under a rock, they are audio pioneers, producing and engineering the world’s best premium speakers. Back in 1966, John Bowers started this electronics brand and since then, they have innovated and evolved like you wouldn’t believe!
After the initial creative brief and project roadmap were outlined, we proceeded to look at a full website audit, UX and wireframe strategy and finally into a detailed UI stage.
The design architecture had a modular approach, enabling multiple features and elements to be hand-picked for any page to be built from the ground up, tailored for a page’s intended use. This allows the website to have a completely versatile structure, from editorial content to rich product driven e-commerce pages.
Throughout the project, our team worked very closely with the client to achieve both party’s creative visions. I played a major part in the creative, production and delivery of the new website. Additionally, I attended various client meetings at their HQ, checking in with their team at various stages of the project, to make sure everyone was aligned.
